With Ode all’Italia, Damiani celebrates the soul of its country through a high jewelry collection that engages in dialogue with Italy’s heritage. Conceived as a journey in three chapters, the creations draw inspiration in turn from the sea, the inland territories, and the cities of art, translating landscapes and cultural symbols into compositions of forms, colors, and precious materials.
The sea first reveals itself in pieces dominated by Paraiba tourmaline, a gemstone prized for its intense blue hue. The Marea Rosa necklace illustrates this theme with a 46-carat stone, surrounded by pink morganites and marquise-cut diamonds. White and rose gold intertwine to evoke the gentle shores of the Mediterranean, enhanced by shimmering reflections.
The inland territories find expression in creations with bold, natural tones. Dolce Stil Novo is the most accomplished example. A structure in white, yellow, and rose gold, set with emeralds and diamonds in varied hues, centers around a Colombian emerald of more than 31 carats. Its versatile design allows it to be worn either as a short necklace or as a bracelet, combining aesthetics with functionality.
Finally, the architecture and history of Italy’s cities of art inspire pieces with precise geometric lines. The Aethernitasnecklace echoes the elegance of Roman monuments through a circular pendant adorned with a fancy yellow-green diamond, detachable to be worn as a brooch. The piece unites visual harmony with technical mastery.
Through this creative triptych, Damiani asserts a vision of Italian high jewelry that intertwines the heritage of the Valenza workshops with a contemporary interpretation of Italy’s landscapes, nature, and architecture.
