The School of Jewelry Arts explores the world of stones

As the end of the year approaches, The School of Jewelry Arts Paris unveils new courses around gems. Two new courses: The Lesotho Legend of raw diamond in the Haute Joaillerie collection and The gouache in Haute Joaillerie 3 the materials, complete a five-session cycle, Art & Science the world of gemstones. These teachings extend the mineral theme inaugurated with the exhibition. Dreams of Stones: Poetry and Minerals by Roger Caillois.
Without any previous requirement, each course invites you to explore matter and creation. The first leads to the heart of a 910-carat diamond, from the extraction process to the Serti Mystérieux™ setting by the Hands of Gold™. The second introduces you to the representation of gemstones and precious metals on gouache, where light, textures, and volumes bring life to sketches of jewelry.
Founded in 2012 with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels, the School It proposes to all to combine history, science and savoir-faire within its Parisian, Asian and international campuses, or during nomadic sessions. Since June 2024, the Parisian site has occupied the Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau, which features a library and a bookstore entirely dedicated to jewelry.
Thus, through these paths, The School He asserts that the discovery of the stones is not limited to observation or technique: it becomes a sensitive and intellectual experience, where each participant can shape their own perspective and creativity.
