Revelations 2025 at the Grand Palais: crafts, jewelry, and international creation
From May 21 to 25, 2025, the Révélations biennial, an international event dedicated to the arts and contemporary creation, will invest the restored Grand Palais with a new, large-scale edition. Organized by Ateliers d’Art de France, this 7th edition brings together more than 550 creators and artisans from 35 countries. All of them have come to present their works in the heart of a heritage site that has become emblematic. Between the monumental nave and the side galleries, Révélations 2025 confirms its role as a global platform for exceptional savoir-faire. A gathering where disciplines, generations, and traditions are revisited.
The scenography designed by Adrien Gardère favors a fluid progression, leaving each creation the opportunity to emerge with precision. At the heart of the Banquet, the biennial’s manifest exhibition, Italy is in the spotlight. Murano glass, silk from Como, coral from Naples: the country’s emblematic materials are here reinterpreted by a new generation of Italian designers, at the crossroads of heritage and experimentation. The opening to new countries, such as Malaysia or Georgia, testifies to the progressive expansion of the view on contemporary artisan practices on a global scale.
Contemporary jewelry, for its part, asserts itself with strong propositions. Atelier Cédric Peltier, already noted during previous editions, returns with sculptural pieces exploring the tensions of metal and the sensuality of lines. For her part, Amande Haeghen unveils a meticulous research into the structures of the jewel. She explores both textile volumes and natural forms. Alongside these singular approaches, Thierry Vendome, Capucine H And Mira Ming also brings their bold vision, combining raw materials, formal poetry and reinvented craftsmanship. These creators embody a renewal of art jewelry. Each piece of jewelry becomes a space for dialogue between material, gesture and concept.
At the intersection of contemporary art and author’s jewelry, other creators propose a more symbolic approach. The young Alyssa Jos, with her cross-influences, designs hybrid pieces at the border between precious sculpture and talismanic jewelry. Here, Révélations’ jewelry is not just about adornment: it questions, experiments, and disrupts formats. Through these singular approaches, the event celebrates the vitality of a sector in transition. Where artisan innovation takes center stage in the field of contemporary creation.
