This January, Christie’s France celebrates contemporary creativity by opening its spaces to the leading figures of art and design.
The Avenue Matignon transforms into a place of dialogue between eras and disciplines, bringing together the works of renowned talents. Among the highlights of this programming, the exhibition dedicated to Elie Top will mark a pause from January 27 to 29, a celebration of the ten years of his jewelry house.
Regular guest of Christie’s, Elie Top He chose these prestigious salons to unveil his all-new collection, Liaisons dangereuses. Inspired by the Age of Enlightenment, this series of creations explores the interplay between classicism and modernity, faithful to the jeweler’s bold vision.
Alongside these unique pieces, a retrospective, titled Métamorphoses, will highlight the maison's most significant creations of the last decade.
Trained by emblematic figures of haute couture such as Yves Saint Laurent, Loulou de la Falaise and Alber Elbaz, Elie Top He quickly established himself in the world of jewelry with his unique approach. His jewelry stands out for its architectural volumes and sculptural lines, while blending historical and futuristic influences. When asked about his work, he said: «I design unique jewelry that plays with eras. Legends of the past emerge from hidden treasures.»
This exhibition is part of a rich history at Christie’s. In 2019, Elie Top He had imagined a set design for the Classic Week in Paris. More recently, in 2022, he shared his favorites during a jewelry auction held in the capital.
These collaborations testify to a fruitful dialogue between his universe and the heritage values promoted by Christie’s.
