The first precious ballerinas from Van Cleef & Arpels, These clips were created in the 1940s thanks to the inspiration of Louis Arpels, a great fan of ballets and operas. About the Van Cleef & Arpels ballerinas:
The arts of dance and jewelry share a keen sense of precision and finesse. Through the attentive observation of ballet dancers, Van Cleef & Arpels has created a true poetry of movement: touched by grace, the ballerinas seem to dance on their toes for eternity. A perfect arabesque, an aerial jet and a graceful entwining become precious pieces in the hands of the artisans.
