This is how one can walk there for hours without encountering a living soul. One only encounters the footprints of a few enigmatic blue scarabs, or the strange red silhouettes painted on the rocky walls of the Séfar plateau.

It should be noted that these drawings date from 9 to 10,000 years before Christ. They depict animals and scenes from everyday life in an era when the Sahara was a fertile and lush land. Indeed, we see characters dancing in an enigmatic manner, probably due to their ritual costumes and masks.

For example, let us contemplate the blue scarab, a symbol of luck. This blue color is also found in the clothing of the Tuaregs who traverse these arid territories.
