Through six very fine pins, the Italian house highlights the evolution of its style and its goldsmithing techniques, since Mario Buccellati up to Andrea’s most recent creations Buccellati. Among the pieces exhibited in London are the orchid brooch from 1929 and the daisy from the 1960s, which testify to the founder’s meticulous approach. Meanwhile, the begonia brooch from 1991, accompanied by matching earrings, illustrates the evolution of his son Gianmaria’s work.

The exhibition also marks the presentation of new Magnolia pins, reinterpreted by Andrea Buccellati. Available in three versions adorned with sapphires, emeralds or rubies, these pieces are crafted using the «segrinato» engraving technique, which gives the petals a textured and velvety effect. The Magnolia brooch, introduced in the 1980s, remains a signature of the Maison, illustrating the continuity of its stylistic language and the lasting nature of its creations across generations.

Beyond the jewels, Buccellati will also present its flower cuts from the collection Natura, In a mise en scène incorporating paper art compositions created by Marta Tullio Nardi. Inspired by the diversity of the plant world, the Venetian artist highlights a dialogue between materials and natural forms, echoing the Maison’s artisanal heritage.

The initiative is part of a broader approach taken by the exhibition, which brings together more than 500 works exploring the influence of flora in contemporary art. Painting, sculpture, photography, and decorative arts intersect to illustrate how nature continues to inspire creators. In this ensemble, the pieces Buccellati They bear witness to a tradition that draws from the observation of living things an inexhaustible source of forms and textures, which are then translated into the world of jewelry and goldsmithing.

Mario Buccellati, often nicknamed « The Prince of the Goldsmiths », laid the foundations for a style that combines rigor and poetry, giving birth to works of arresting realism. His son Gianmaria has enriched this legacy by exploring new interpretations of plant forms, sometimes drawn from his imagination. Today, Andrea Buccellati continues this tradition by perpetuating a dialogue between centuries-old know-how and contemporary vision.
