Sometimes all it takes is a plate to change the way you look at a table. A shape, a material, an unexpected detail can transform a daily gesture into an aesthetic experience. This is precisely what Table-Signature, a new proposition by Galerie Vauclair, has to offer.
On the Mellerio facade appears a vast composition imagined by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Like a curtain lifted on several centuries of creation, the installation covers the building with a narrative populated by women, colours and historical references.
With this first Parisian exhibition, Pomellato ultimately offers more than just a look at its heritage. The journey reveals how a jewellery house can become an observatory of the aesthetic, cultural and social transformations that have marked recent decades.
