The haute couture scene was illuminated at the end of January by the revelation of the second chapter of Deep Time. A collection, consisting of fifty unique pieces, which is the result of the creative genius of Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Jewelry and Watches Louis Vuitton. It takes us on a journey through the ages, from the birth of our planet to the dawn of life.
Titled Laurasia, The first theme of this magnificent collection brings to life the time when the Earth was dominated by two supercontinents, Gondwana and Laurasia. Contrasting pieces, paved with sumptuous yellow diamonds, evoke this primitive period. One will notice the superb seven-row necklace adorned with a yellow diamond of over 5 carats. Through the seismic and apocalyptic turmoil, the theme Drift captures the constantly transforming energy of our changing planet. Myriad pays tribute to cellular division, with creations evoking helical DNA. A new theme, Symbiosis, celebrates the first terrestrial ecosystems, featuring feminine pieces adorned with delicate purple and pastel pink tassels. Plants, Fossils and Skin respectively explore verdant creations, mineralized remains that bear witness to the past, and the transformation of natural forms into a pure and incandescent geometry. These pieces embody the exceptional craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton, They are both captivating and futuristic.
Each theme, from Drift à Flower, This piece is testament to the extraordinary creative wealth of this collection. Each piece, meticulously designed and crafted, bears the imprint of the millennia-long evolution of our planet.

Francesca Amfitheatrof summarizes thus the journey of Deep Time: «At Chez Louis Vuitton, Our spirit of adventure takes us to ever more extraordinary and unexpected places.» This final chapter of this wonderful odyssey bears witness to a constant willingness to explore, innovate, and transcend the boundaries of time and creativity.
A collection that undoubtedly marks an unforgettable milestone in the heritage of Haute Joaillerie.
