Esprit Joaillerie went to the Royal Museums of Fine Arts and History of Brussels for the exhibition
Horta & Wolfers.
105 years after its inauguration, rue d’Arenberg in Brussels in 1912, the legendary jewelry store Wolfers Frères was completely reconstructed at Museum of the Fiftieth Anniversary in a room of identical size.
First of all, the visitors enter the space imagined by the architect Victor Horta in the same way that the clientele of the jewelry store did at the time.
First and foremost, it is a leap in time that magnifies the precious jewels on display in the jeweler’s shop. Wolfers.
