Tiffany’s celestial treasures, when the universe becomes a jewel
Just as the universe unfolds its beauty through its mysteries, human creativity draws its strength from the unknown. The artist, like an astronomer, captures these sparks of infinity to translate them into works. Tiffany & Co. has unveiled new wonders, featuring Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste. Led by Nathalie Verdeille, artistic director of the maison’s jewelry and haute joaillerie division, these creations are imbued with the exuberant imagination of Jean Schlumberger. Known for his fascination with celestial mysteries and the infinite, Jean Schlumberger has marked jewelry with his creations inspired by celestial bodies and cosmic phenomena.
Tiffany Céleste made its first steps in the spring with its six chapters Wings, Arrow, Constellation, Iconic Star, Ray of Light and Apollo. The collection now spans three new sections, Peacock, Shooting Star and Flames. New facets of the universe are revealed, reinterpreting the cosmic visions of Jean Schlumberger.

The chapter Peacock This is a majestic tribute to the peacock, whose iridescent plumage has, over the centuries, inspired many myths and legends. The creations evoke the grace and magnificence of this bird, once considered a mythological creature by European naturalists. The precious stones chosen, Tanzanite, green tourmaline and diamonds, recall the changing colors of the feathers. The centerpiece of this chapter is a necklace composed of cushion-cut Tanzanite totaling more than 108 carats, while a brooch features a significant 13-carat Tanzanite.
Shooting Star, Inspired by the archives of Jean Schlumberger, the theme brings together the classic silhouette of the star with sparkling ribbons, evoking the luminous trail of a shooting star. A sumptuous necklace adorned with amethysts and diamonds captures the ephemeral dance of meteors in the night sky. Another variation of this motif depicts a majestic amethyst, around which diamonds unfold like a rain of stars.
Finally, Flame is inspired by solar flares, which Jean Schlumberger already interpreted in his famous earrings Flame. Here, the creations are adorned with flamboyant diamonds, expressing the power and light of the flames. A platinum and yellow gold necklace features more than 53 carats of diamonds, with the center diamond adorned with a 7-carat diamond. The earrings are equally spectacular; the Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds surrounded by white diamonds capture the vibrant energy of the flames in an explosion of light.
