Piaget is redesigning its historic address, Place Vendôme.

At 16 Place Vendôme, the address of Piaget A new chapter begins. The Swiss House unveils a redesigned and expanded store, now twice as large, conceived by the American architect and designer Rafael de Cárdenas. A project that embodies the unique spirit of Piaget : an alliance of sophistication and fantasy that the House calls Extraleganza.
From the façade, the transformation is evident. The circular showcases attract attention and establish an immediate dialogue with the street. The ground-floor showcase is distinguished by blue sodalite panels, a stone whose chromatic depth evokes some of the historic dials of the Maison. This choice also refers to the decorative heritage of 20th-century France, where mineral materials were elevated to the rank of artistic expression by creators such as Jean Royère and Jacques Ruhlmann.
Inside, the colors become a language. The nuances of blue meet coral and gold, creating an atmosphere that recalls the aesthetic signatures of Piaget. Rafael de Cárdenas’s project resembles a «room of wonders,» where textures, volumes, and reflections form a visual journey. The noble materials and works of art dialogue with the world of watchmaking and jewelry, between mechanical precision and imagination.
On the ground floor, a cabinet of virtuosity traces the history of the House through patrimonial creations. Further on, a plaster wall designed by the artist Caroline Perrin pays tribute to the work of the material and the gestures of the artisans.
An asymmetric staircase leads to the mezzanine in a golden light. The journey continues to the second floor, which overlooks Place Vendôme and is adorned with a fresco depicting malachite, created by Julien Gautier. The contemporary collections of watchmaking and jewelry find a setting conducive to contemplation there.
More than just a shop, this place aims to be a meeting place. Faithful to the spirit of the Geneva salon created in 1959, Piaget It also hosts works of art selected by the curator Alexandra Fain, founder of the Asia NOW fair. The programming will be renewed twice a year.
Between heritage and contemporary creation, the Maison here affirms a vision: that of a constant dialogue between horology, jewelry, and the arts.
