Gemologist, in love with well-crafted jewelry, this passionate stone enthusiast shared her interest in creation and craftsmanship with me. «At the Mes Créateurs Joailliers salon, there is no place for mass-produced jewelry; we must highlight French craftsmanship and creativity.».

What is your favorite stone?

The spinel. I received a spessartite for the birth of my first child. I also love rhodochrosite gem, and recently I fell in love with a wonder... a rhodonite gem, which is very rare.

A jewel that makes you dreaming ?

There are many of them...

The jewel that represents you better ?

A brooch. The one that represents me is a vintage Chanel brooch, made of glass paste; it’s simple and I wore it on my wedding day.

What gave you a passion for stones?

I like the jewel with the stone; I wanted to go further. So I did the ING to buy more of them, and I discovered the inner world of stones, the different shades of color, and a passion was born.

What led you to create the salon «My Jewellery Designers»?

On the one hand, my contacts in the world of jewelry, and on the other hand, access to a place: the Hotel de l’Industrie.

We had to think about this place. It took a year of thought; it wasn’t easy to optimize the space because there are several rooms; then the second step was to bring the creators together around this project, this spirit of «French savoir-faire».

But it has been achieved, and it is a success.

A book you haven’t forgotten?

It’s Dostoevsky’s «idiot.» Because I think in life it’s better to surprise than to disappoint.

I like discovering personalities; I like the character of the idiot; and it’s clear in this book that society is malleable.

Which exhibition has left the deepest mark on you?

In Moscow, Mickaël Vroubel is a Russian painter from the late 19th century. I was fascinated by the painting of the «demon» and the one of «the swan princess»!

A place that inspires you?

A green place! Thick grass, a river, trees… Nature.
