Van Cleef & Arpels takes us on an unprecedented adventure with his new collection of high-end jewelry inspired by the legendary novel The Island of Treasure by Robert Louis Stevenson. This literary work, published in 1883, is reinterpreted with narrative richness and exceptional jewelry craftsmanship.

The collection revolves around three main themes, each capturing a facet of the adventure. The first, dedicated to the sea and navigation, transforms waves and nautical knots into motifs adorned with sapphires and emeralds. Color combinations evoke the infinite nuances of the ocean, from bright turquoise to the deep blue of the night.

The second chapter celebrates the wild nature of the mysterious island: exotic flowers and iridescent seashells come to life in outfits in muted shades of amber. Finally, the final chapter explores the quest for treasure through various cultural inspirations, ranging from pre-Columbian ornaments to Asian art, featuring exotic gems and finely crafted metals.

True to his legacy, Van Cleef & Arpels pays particular attention to the choice of stones. Nicolas Bos, president of the Maison, emphasizes: «Each gem tells a story and evokes emotion.» This philosophy is reflected in the use of rare stones with surprising associations, giving rise to compositions that harmoniously blend nature and fantasy.

With this collection, Van Cleef & Arpels infuse a vision imbued with poetry and escapism, reaffirming once again its role as a wonderful storyteller through the art of jewelry.
