Harry Winston Marble Marquetry, new inspiration

Each chapter of the New York collection by Harry Winston draws its inspiration from the unique energy of the city, its emblematic architecture, and its lasting influence. The subcollection 718 Marble Marquetry enters into the heart of this approach by paying tribute to the Maison’s historic flagship store, located on Fifth Avenue, a benchmark where savoir-faire and excellence come together.
Opened in March 1960 at 718 Fifth Avenue, this salon was designed in an 18th-century French-inspired building, in defiance of the modernist trends then dominant in New York. Faithful to the vision of Harry Winston, Each architectural element has been designed to reveal the beauty of the stones, in a controlled balance between discretion and enhancement.
718 Marble Marquetry She translates this approach into high jewelry. She draws inspiration from the black and white marble motifs in the salon to propose a graphic and structured reading. The necklace, earrings, and ring creations are organized around a central motif composed of ten pear-shaped stones arranged in a crown around a emerald-cut diamond.
The association of colored stones, including rubies, sapphires, pink sapphires, spessartite garnets, yellow diamonds, and black spinels, demonstrates the attention paid to chromatic harmony and the highlighting of volumes. Each piece reflects the Maison’s exacting selection of gemstones.
Through 718 Marble Marquetry, The architectural heritage of 718 Fifth Avenue finds a new expression. The collection embodies a continuity between space, light and jewelry creation, accurately translating New York’s identity. Harry Winston.
