SUNBRAGLE: A CHANEL talisman
CHANEL 1932

It all began 90 years ago when Gabrielle Chanel created her first collection of high-quality jewelry. Diamond Jewelry.
It is 1932 and for the last three years the world has been immersed in the Great Depression. While the times are grim, a light comes from an idea by Diamond Corporation Limited. In order to revitalize the diamond market, DCL contacts a visionary woman, Gabrielle Chanel. This is how Mademoiselle chooses to offer dreamlike energy and beauty with Diamond Jewelry. Indeed, it was by looking at the stars shining in the sky that she decided to create meteorites, moons, stars and suns in diamonds.
It’s a success.

So to celebrate the anniversary of this historic collection, the Joaillerie Creation Studio of CHANEL present the Collection 1932. In fact, Patrice Leguéreau (Director of the Joaillerie Creation Studio at CHANEL ) draws on the modernity of Gabrielle's collection by retaining three symbols: the comet, the moon and the sun.
Thus, the Collection 1932 is a journey through time among the stars where diamonds and colored stones sparkle.

Let's mention this gorgeous necklace Allure Céleste, It represents a journey into the heart of light, the light that emanates from the stars to unite them in the vastness of the sky. Moreover, this necklace is transformable; the halos detach to become brooches. Just as the central line of diamonds becomes a bracelet.

Similarly, Gabrielle’s precious symbols continue to amaze the eyes of Patrice Leguéreau. Like this sun ring or this moon brooch.
