Anna Hu and the resonance of the symbols at the TEFAF Maastricht
The participation of’Anna Hu At TEFAF Maastricht, it has become, year after year, a meeting point where jewelry becomes a fully-fledged artistic language. For this fourth edition, the designer presented a collection where the resonance of symbols blends with the exigency of the gesture.

Far from being a mere aesthetic homage, the creations of’Anna Hu They translate a dialogue between collective memory and avant-garde materials. Titanium, a material of choice, is adorned with nuanced colors through a nano-electroplating process. This technique allows it to achieve a chromatic intensity difficult to achieve using traditional methods.
This approach is particularly evident in the ring Orchid Minuet, Its tones evoke the power and determination of the character of Mu Guiying, an emblematic figure of the Beijing opera.
The brooch On the Side of Heaven Illustratively, it illustrates a cosmological vision, with a Paraiba tourmaline of more than 42 carats at the center of a stellar movement, where the sun and the moon balance in a dance of light and matter.
These references to the universe and to natural forces are part of a process where each piece of jewelry is a miniature narrative, a fragment of culture captured in metal and stones.
The exhibition space designed for this edition extended this ambition. The references to stylized mountain landscapes in the art form Shan-Shui and games of transparency with the metallic sails. It is less a simple showcase than a staging designed to accompany the experience of looking.
By combining formal research with symbolic depth, Anna Hu asserts a vision where jewelry goes beyond its function to become a medium of cultural expression.
